Chinese smartphone maker Huawei Wireless Charger launched at Rs 3,999

NEW DELHI: Chinese smartphone maker Huawei has launched a wireless charger in India. The company claims that it is the world’s fastest wireless charger and is priced at Rs 3,999. The charger is exclusively available on Amazon India website.

The Huawei Wireless Charger comes equipped with company’s own self-developed Supercharge technology. The device comes with WPC Qi standard authentication and it charges smartphones with integrated Qi functionality and devices equipped with a Qi-receiving battery case.

The company claims that with 15W output, the charger delivers power quickly and smoothly to a smartphone without having to sacrifice any speed compared to a wired charger. Qi standard, identifies smartphones, earbuds and other devices intelligently, adjusts output power automatically, and charge them safely.

The device also comes with foreign object detection, which allows it to automatically switch off when detecting keys, or any other metal objects, within safe temperature to avoid overheating. The charger also offers multi-layer safety protection, enabling secure and reliable charging experience. It sports a unibody silicon surface which protects the phone from falling.

The company also said that it comes with a built-in chip that can adjust the output power automatically according to the ambient temperature and real-time battery percentage.

Recently, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor launched its flagship smartphone Honor View 20 at an event in Paris. The company is now all set to launch the smartphone in India. Honor has scheduled an event in Delhi on January 29, where it will unveil the smartphone. The Honor View 20 is the world’s first smartphone to come with a 48MP rear camera.

The smartphone is powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 980 processor and runs Android 9.0 Pie operating system out-of-the-box. It is expected that the company will price the smartphone under Rs 40,000.
