Samsung debuted in the space of dual-camera enabled smartphone with Galaxy Note 8 this week. And, it becomes obvious that in coming months we will be seeing more smartphones with dual-camera. As it happens, the rumored Galaxy J7+ has surfaced online in leaked images flaunting dual-camera setup on the back.
Promotional material for the unannounced Galaxy J7+ has been leaked ahead of the official announcement (via 91Mobiles). The images show off the dual-camera setup and unlike the Galaxy Note 8, it is vertically-aligned with LED flash positioned beneath the camera ring. The dual camera is said to use a 13-megapixel f/1.7 primary sensor combined with 5-megapixel f/1.9 depth-sensing sensor. Up front, the Galaxy J7+ will be equipped with 16-megapixel f/1.9 selfie snapper aided by a LED flash, the report says.
In terms of design, the Galaxy J7+ has a metal unibody design with thick bezels above and below the display and minimal borders on sides. The bottom chin appears to house capacitative buttons with the physical home button that is likely to double up as fingerprint sensor as well. It is said to come in three color options- black, gold and pink. The report also says that Samsung can soon unveil the smartphone in Thailand.
The Galaxy J7+ will come with a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) display and it will be powered by a 2.39GHz octa-core processor. It can come with 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, that will be further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. The dual-SIM enabled smartphone will run Android Nougat 7.1.1 backed by a 3,000mAh battery. The report also says that the Galaxy J7+ could feature facial recognition and Bixby support.
