Offering various products like computers, laptops, smartphones and tablets, Samsung has gained immense popularity in the Indian market over the time. Zooming in on smartphones, the company is known to offer its customers devices which fit into various price range.
With the sale of the tablets experiencing a dip in the past quarters, the company is confident of its revival in the Indian market this year and with the launch of its first 4G tablet, Galaxy Tab A 7.0, in the sub-Rs 10,000 category. It is priced at Rs 9,500, features a 4000mAh battery, providing up to 9 hours of video playback.

Kaul said the consumer segment should see sales picking up with data becoming more affordable and increased availability of quality content.
