Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is all set to come out with its new 32 GB storage flagship Mi Max 2 variant in the Indian market very soon. The company had launched the Mi Max 2 smartphone in July which has 4GB RAM and 64 GB storage and is priced at Rs 16,999 in the Indian market. Xiaomi’s latest move is surely an attempt to appease the mid-range market and thus the company is now coming out with a 4GB + 32GB option that is priced at Rs 14,999. However, it has been revealed it will have an introductory price tag of just Rs 12,999, according to a statement on their official Twitter handle. According to an official release, the new variant will go on sale from September 20 at 12 pm on e-commerce platform Amazon India, Mi.com and its offline retail platform Mi Home. Both Amazon and Mi.com will offer an introductory price of Rs 12,999 when the phone is up for sale on September 20.
Both versions of the new flagship phones come with a 6.44-inch full HD display and run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 625. Similarly for the camera, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a 12MP one on the back with dual-tone LED flash and a 5MP in the front. Both the variants of Mi Max 2 come with expandability option via microSD card (up to 128GB). Recalling the other feature, Mi Max 2 smartphone has front camera that offers real-time video chat filters and an 85-degree wide angle.
The Mi Max 2 boasts a rear-mounted circular fingerprint scanner and curved 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass on its front with backlit capacitive keys. Other major highlights include a 5300 mAh battery that offers super quick charge and connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and this has a USB Type-C port.
