Fastrack launches ‘world’s slimmest’ gesture-controlled smartband, Reflex Wav

NEW DELHI: Fastrack is expanding its wearables range. The company has launched a new smartband called ‘Reflex Wav’ that it claims is ‘world’s slimmest’ gesture-controlled smartband. With a simple gesture of twisting wrist, users will be able to change music, click pictures, reject calls, scroll notifications, see presentations and more. The Reflex Wav also has an activity tracker with support for 24-hours active sleep tracking. Users can also set calendar alerts and reminders in the new Fastrack smartband.

Pricing and availability

The all-new Reflex Wav adds to the company’s Reflex smartband series. Reflex Wav is priced between Rs 3,500 and Rs 6,500. The smartband comes in Charcoal Black colour.

Fastrack Reflex Wav measures 9mm and sports an OLED display. With IP 67 ration, Fastrack Reflex Wav smartband is water resistant. This means that the smartband can withstand dust and is capable of withstanding water immersion between 15cm and 1meter for 30 minutes. The smartband includes gesture control for a range of activities and tasks as listed above. Other than these, users can also reject or mute calls received on their Android smartphones. The smartband also has sedentary reminders, which means it will alert users in case there’s lack of activity for a certain period of time. The company so far has not revealed the battery backup.

Earlier this year, Fastrack launched Reflex 2.0 smartbands as part of the Amazon Prime Day sale in July. Priced at Rs 1,995, the smartband is available in a range of color options including Electric Blue, Neon Green and Charcoal Black.
