Google has officially not mention a word regarding its mid-range Pixel phones but leak reports suggest that Google will soon launch a more affordable Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL. According to the latest round of rumours, the prices of the Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL has been revealed in Canada and could be priced at CAD 649 and CAD 799. This translates to Rs 33,670 for the Google Pixel 3a and Rs 41,500 for the Pixel 3a XL. Both the devices would apparently come with 64GB of internal storage without support for microSD cards.
Both the smartphones will look similar to existing Google Pixel 3 and might come with a 3.5mm headphone jack along with single-lens camera on both front and back. The phones are expected to come with an 8-megapixel wide-angle front shooter and a 12-megapixel rear shooter. The camera results are said to be identical to the Pixel 3, however, the overall camera performance could be slightly inferior.
The smartphone are expected to come in White and Black colour options. Interestingly, another recent report by WinFuture claimed that there will be three colour options for the Pixel 3a. Apart from the Black and White, there is said to be an “Iris” colour which is close to Blue.
A recent report by 9to5Google revealed that the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL will offer a screen size of 5.6-inch and 6-inch respectively. The Pixel 3a will offer an OLED screen of 2220×1080p resolution and 440dpi. The upcoming mid-range Pixel smartphones are alleged to come with Active Edge squeezable sides and offer eSIM support. A ‘reliable source’ also revealed to 9to5Google that the handsets will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 along with 4GB RAM.
